Belinda Johnston Director |
Belinda started her life on stage at just 3 weeks of age and has been performing ever since. She learned her craft touring the NSW Club Circuit as a child, appearing in professional pantomimes.
Belinda has not only played wonderful supporting roles in an array of musicals but she has also choreographed many of them as well. Her name has appeared, with various community theatre groups, in the credits of such shows as Les Miserables, Oliver, the Music Man, BIG- the Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Thus, it was a natural progression when Belinda turned her hand to directing, with successes in such shows as BCCT’s Aladdin and The No Frills Revue, plus plays in BCCT’s 4 Short Plays drama seasons.
The Boy from Oz will be Belinda’s most ambitious directing challenge so far but we are sure you will enjoy her vision and expertise in tonight’s production. |
